My Practice

I founded Berkeley & Oakland Psychological Services to offer a space where people can slow down, feel seen, and begin to heal. My work focuses on trauma, addiction, grief, anxiety, and depression — but at its heart, it’s about helping people reconnect with themselves and find a greater sense of ease and wholeness.

I draw from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to guide a process that’s both body-centered and deeply compassionate. I understand trauma as any past experience that still feels charged or unresolved — something we all carry in different forms.

I also see addiction as a natural effort to feel safe or soothed, one that can become tangled when pain hasn’t yet been processed. When we bring curiosity and care to these inner experiences, new possibilities for peace and growth begin to open up.
